POSPac UAV Complete is powered by a suite of advanced technologies to ensure superior performance:

  • Trimble ProPoint GNSS: This 5th generation high-precision GNSS positioning technology offers improved performance in challenging environments, enhanced constellation support and better protection against jamming, spoofing and multipath.
  • Trimble CenterPoint RTX: Leveraging Trimble's global network of tracking stations, this advanced GNSS correction technology provides real-time and post-processed centimeter-level accuracy without the need for physical base stations. It boasts global convergence of less than three minutes and one-minute convergence in fast regions, making this very suitable for short UAV flights.
  • Applanix IN-Fusion+: Our advanced multi-sensor aided inertial engine supports multi-satellite and multi-frequency GNSS constellations, including BeiDou-III signals. It provides improved robustness, reliability, quality and accuracy, specifically in combination with the post-processed RTX mode.

Integrated processing modes

POSPac UAV Complete offers an "all-in-one" solution, bundling all essential GNSS augmentation options into a single license:

  • Post-processed RTX (PP-RTX)
  • Single base (SiB)
  • Multi-single base (MSB)
  • SmartBase (SmB)
  • IN-Fusion+ PP-RTX 2: Processes trajectory without a base station, operating globally within minutes after data acquisition, with centimeter-level accuracy and reduced convergence times in the global region with BDS-III signals.

  • Project Wizard: The new Project Wizard streamlines the project setup and workflow, enabling users to quickly generate outputs such as SBET and EO.

  • IonoGuard: Mitigates ionospheric scintillations, crucial as solar activity peaks in 2025. Supported in IN-Fusion+ Single Base and PP-RTX 2, it ensures stable GNSS in affected regions.

  • LiDAR QC Tools: Utilizes LiDAR data to optimize the GNSS/INS trajectory, functioning like simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), to ensure consistent point clouds for precise 3D mapping. The tools now support the Riegl native file format, and have reduced RAM requirements for faster processing.

  • Camera QC Tools: The robust successor to CalQC provides rapid boresight calibration for the camera payload. It ensures unbiased direct georeferencing with an effortless, intuitive workflow and minimal user interaction.

  • All-in-one license: Includes single base, SmartBase, and PP-RTX processing for a single, transparent annual fee. Savings of up to 25% are available with multi-year discounts.

  • Survey base station coordinates: Utilize static CenterPoint RTX to accurately survey your base station coordinates, ensuring precision and eliminating concerns about datum defects.

  • Trimble GNSS Augmentation (TGA) subscription: Access to over 3,200 base stations worldwide via Trimble’s VRS Now network.

  • Faster convergence for PP-RTX 2: Achieve significantly faster PP-RTX 2 convergence in global regions (under 3 minutes with BDS-III) and in fast regions (one to two minutes), making it also suitable for short UAV flights outside of fast regions.

  • Modernized user interface: A new look and feel with a background map and overlaid trajectory provides a modernized user interface and streamlined workflows.

  • Base station-free processing: Eliminate the need for physical base stations with PP-RTX, saving time and labor in deployment, monitoring and retrieval.

  • Worldwide coverage: PP-RTX provides global coverage, providing a perfect correction service available within minutes after mission completion wherever you are. It allows processing of "over-the-air" logged RTX corrections when an internet connection is unavailable.

  • Traditional license “free” post-processing: Combined with the new APX RTX generation and the “RTX Complete” subscription, no traditional license is required for post-processing data in POSPac UAV Complete. The required license is embedded in the rover data collection (T04).

  • Optimal LiDAR georeferencing: LiDAR QC tools help attain the utmost level of georeferencing accuracy with LiDAR sensors, generating homogeneous point clouds and improving results in GNSS-critical terrain.

  • Rapid camera calibration: Camera QC offers robust, effortless and intuitive boresight calibration for the camera payload, ensuring unbiased Direct Georeferencing performance with minimal user interaction.

  • All-in-one term license: POSPac Complete bundles single base, SmartBase, and PP-RTX into one comprehensive license, eliminating hidden costs and simplifying budgeting. It applies to the “POSPac UAV Complete” term license and the “RTX Complete” real-time subscription.
