Navigating the open sky: Unleashing the power of Applanix IN-Fusion+ PP-RTX 2 in Trimble MX50 mobile mapping

This case study compares Trimble® Applanix® IN-Fusion®+ PP-RTX 2 processing with a traditional single base solution for a Trimble MX50 mobile mapping project. The cloud-based PP-RTX 2, which requires no base station , achieved 3.4 cm 3D absolute accuracy — statistically almost identical to the base station's 2.7 cm. This proves PP-RTX 2 is an efficient alternative for georeferencing sensor data.
